Life in college for me.

College life are sometimes rough for certain people but some people just find college is so much better than school. Well yeah most people would think that maybe, college life gets really hectic if you don’t know how to manage your time properly. So, always make sure you can get a hold of yourself and be tough to face what ever challenges that come your way.

*       Right after I was done with SPM or a.k.a. the Malaysian Certificate of Education. I didn't know what I was going to do after that; so I was immediately sent for Canadian Pre-U at Taylor’s SS15 Campus. Well, obviously college life would be so much more different than how I went through in high school. So I WAS CAUGHT by surprised to see how things were done here in Pre-U: the time table, the break time, the way how we were taught & treated in class, meeting with international students (which was awesome) and the ASSIGNMENTS given... (Originally I wanted to do foundation at the ONE ACADEMY due to my interest in art, illustration & animation but I was not allowed to do so, or so I thought). How sad… XP

So as I started to join class, not only was I able to obtain more knowledge and insight on the courses given by the lecturers and my new friends in college, I’ve came to an understandable statement that no matter how much we have study, research or LEARNED, we will eventually have to LEARN MORE as the world will always be filled with more information. Whether it’s from the internet, articles, books, magazines, video games, movies, life experiences, etc. the world is ever changing; new information can always be found anywhere at anytime or at any day.

A few months past by and the results are finally out but as I got my certificate… it turns out that I did not manage to get the minimum credit required to continue in Pre-U. The next available courses given were either to go for Diploma in Business, Communication or Hospitality & Management. So on the following month I registered for Diploma in Hospitality & Management at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus.

The ONLY difficulty I had experience in the next course was during the culinary classes ESPECIALLY when it comes to washing the dishes because my hand has allergy to detergent … It was my hand that couldn’t take it as it was VERY sensitive to ANY type of detergent based liquid, but instead of telling this to anyone… I kept quiet about it. With this problem that I’m facing I have no other choice but to transfer to Diploma in Communication.

Life was hectic and things were like going crazy changing course and not having any knowledge on what I’m doing, but no worries I’m sure I can handle things in this course this time.
